The idea behind this site is to keep track of everything that's important to me, and possibly useful, desired, or even inspiring to others as well.  It provided the motivation I needed to create something lasting that represents my art, writing, work, plans, and some things I believe.  I hope it will unite those of us who think the same way, or do the same things, and offer differing perspectives for those who might not.

Expeditions & Climbing Gallery: highlights each of my big trips and presents the best images from each one, plus a link to the full gallery.  This section also contains some of  my best climbing images of some of the people with whom I've had the privilege of sharing a rope.   

Features Portfolio:  a collection of my favorite pieces that I've written for various publications.  It links to some big files so be patient while they're loading.  They're getting pretty outdated these days but oh well, I still like them and hope you will too. 

The Homestead: deals with my plans to build a net-zero, off-grid, food-producing estate on the land I bought in Montana.  I would eventually like to see a small intentional community spring up here, and there is still land available for those interested.

Finally, About Me  is a random collection of images and sentences about my past, my friends, family, and career.
